About Dayhana A. Ray, LCMHC
Hola and Welcome
Dayhana A. Ray (she/her/ella) is a bilingual Latina Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor based in North Carolina. As a first-generation Dominican American, she is passionate about supporting eldest daughters, parentified adults and women of color who are looking to heal, unlearn, and reconnect with themselves.
Dayhana specializes in treating anxiety, trauma, attachment, inner child healing, and ADHD. Her therapeutic approach is somatic, holistic, Parts-informed, and trauma-informed. Rooted in social justice and a deep respect for the mind-body connection. Together, clients are invited to slow down, listen inward, and build a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
Committed to cultural authenticity, Dayhana is on a journey to decolonize therapy by incorporating Indigenous teachings and ancestral wisdom into her work. She also holds a 200-hour yoga certification, which she weaves into her holistic and embodied healing practices when supportive.
Outside the therapy space, Dayhana find pockets of joy by being in nature, caring for her garden and plant babies, crafting, and spending meaningful time with family and friends.
